Where Does the Luxury Consumer Market Stand Mid-Year 2010?

What Does the Second Half of 2010 Hold for Luxury Marketers?

Join Pam Danziger on Thursday August 26 at noon e.s.t. to review the results of the latest luxury tracking survey and what it predicts for the third and fourth quarter in the luxury market

  • What does Unity Marketing's Luxury Tracking Study and the Luxury Consumption Index (LCI) predict for the third and fourth quarters of 2010?
  • How has the luxury market performed through the middle of 2010?
  • Which segments of the luxury consumer market have recovered after the recession….Which segments are still being impacted by recessionary pressures?
  • When will the recession finally be over for the affluent luxury market?
  • What's hot, what's not in luxury today?

You are invited to attend an exclusive webinar Thursday August 26 at 12 p.m. e.s.t. where Pam Danziger will share the latest results from Unity Marketing’s Luxury Tracking Survey, conducted among 1,349 luxury consumers from July 3-8, 2010 (Average income $306.7k and net worth $15.2 million; 44.8 years; 45 percent male and 55 percent female).

In the latest survey Unity Marketing's exclusive Luxury Consumption Index (LCI) has stalled at 78.3 points as affluent consumers reflect a growing uncertainty about prospects for the economy in the next three-to-six months.  As the LCI has proven a reliable predictor of consumer behavior throughout the recession, this stalling is reason for concern.

In the August 26 webinar, Danziger will explain what the latest survey reveals about the consumer confidence among the affluent market and how it will impact the luxury market throughout the second half of 2010.  "Marketing starts with understanding the consumer," Danziger explains.  "And Unity Marketing’s quarterly surveys help marketers keep their finger on the pulse of the luxury consumer mindset.  In the upcoming webinar I will share the survey results from the first half of 2010 and what luxury marketers should expect for the second half of 2010.  This is a webinar luxury marketers can’t afford to miss.”

The webinar will last approximately 45-60 minutes with time for q&a.  Subscription fee for the webinar is $249 and all subscribers will also receive a copy of the detail slides used in the presentation.  The recorded webinar will also be stored for an additional 30 days if you want to hear the talk again or can't make the scheduled webinar.  Finally, your subscription fee can be applied as credit toward the purchase of any Unity Marketing report.  Your credit card will not be charged until a day or two before the webinar.
